Congratulations to all the volunteers for making this year's Festival such a wonderful event, we also would like to thank the board of directors for setting aside the budget for the festival. Quick updates:The 400 foot of concrete road, water line, sewer line and electricity are on hold for now.

On behalf of Tai Village, I want to thank everyone for
helping out with the gazebos.
Thank you to those that helped organnize and were able to spent their Friday evening taking down fences and trees to get the ground ready for our garage/storage. (New location for the garage)
Again, thank you very much for those that were able to attend the festival meetings, everything is finalized. More volunteers are still needed for this Friday, we will do all the last minute cleaning, setting up all the tents, tables and chairs. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us or come out this Friday during the day or after work.

Khan lor kua pi nong? Our upcoming event "Boun Banh Tai" is set for October 3, 2009; I have been asked to
Co-Chair along with Steve Baccam for Tai
Village, to organize the
festival. I am honored to have been
chosen to be a part of the planning. I
would like to take this opportunity to ask for your assistance to insure we
have a successful event.
We
are inviting everyone to join us for the forth meeting at Banh Tai(Tai
Village ), Sunday September 27, 2009 at 3:00 pm. Please,
feel free to bring a food dish to the meeting, as we will be enjoying each
other’s company and generating great ideas. We are open to all ideas,
suggestions, and your participation in this meeting will be an asset to our
event.
Our
goal for the 3rd Annual Tai Village Festival, are to involve the
community as a whole, to insure a grand success. All the donations and proceeds from the
festival and future fund raising events will be an asset to our Tai
Village. With successful events we
will be able to apply the proceeds towards construction of roads, facilities,
and more; to insure a rich heritage for our future generation to come.
Let’s
pull together and build a legacy of the Tai people, so our children will
benefit and be proud of their heritage. I
